blond•i•capped (blŏn’ dē-kăpt‘) adj. 1. A blonde’s dubious dumbness due to a recessive gene affecting hair color. 2. A perceived drop in one’s intelligence resulting from the use of hair bleach. 3. The expectation of special treatment based on one’s blondeness [“because I’m blonde” syndrome].

Blondicapped™ celebrates all that is blonde in the world. It is a social statement that acknowledges the unique humor, fun and delight associated with being a blonde, or knowing one! But then don’t we all have a little bit of blonde inside all of us? From Aphrodite to Barbie, Marilyn Monroe to Madonna, the mystique of the blonde has persisted through time and become a paradox of modern pop culture. On the one hand, blondes seem to enjoy special privileges and status in our society; yet, at the same time, there persists the myth of the “ditzy blonde.”

Whichever way you look at it, for good or for bad, one thing is for certain— it’s safe to say that the whole world seems to be preoccupied with blondes— to the point where we’ve all become a little bit Blondicapped! We embrace our “blondeness” and invite you to join us as we laugh along and flaunt our golden locks— all the while remaining “true to our roots!”
